At the Legal & General Mortgage Club Awards 2020, held virtually, HL Partnership were confirmed as the Club’s Best National Network Partner.
L&G Mortgage Club had invited a panel of respected industry experts to assess each nominee and give their vote for a winner. To help the judges, HLP submitted a report to highlight how the Network had helped educate and support its firms and their advisers, how it had adopted new technology, and ultimately worked with its membership to deliver great customer outcomes.
The panel recognised the growth of the Network, the support provided to members throughout national lockdown’s and innovation in technology. Through our members, in 2020 we will be helping over 25,000 customers, complete on more than £6bn in lending and ensuring that the majority of those customers had plans in place to provide the financial support should the unexpected happen.
Technology has been a clear focus for the business with the early adoption of 360 Dotnet as the core CRM platform, and the integration of Twenty7Tec as its mortgage sourcing system. Add to this the integration of Solution Builder into its protection proposition alongside investment to deliver efficiencies in the general insurance sales process, and it is clear technology is a clear driver for the business.
A programme of virtual workshops and nearly 1 million client newsletters distributed on behalf of member firms along with innovation in technology have reinforced the Network culture of providing a supportive environment.
Commenting on the award, Managing Director Shaun Almond said “This prestigious award recognises the relationship that the team at the Network have with its membership, delivering support, education and the innovation in the advice process. This work means that more customers will have the right lending solution for their needs, and the protection in place to provide that peace of mind should the worst happen.”
Shaun continues “We know that it has been a challenging few months for advisers as the Mortgage and Protection market continues to evolve, so it is up to us in the Network not to rest on our laurels but to continue to innovate, educate and ensure customers continue to receive the high quality advice I know our members deliver day in day out.”
